Music Tips

Hello everyone,
I was "busy", so I didn't have time to annoy you with my posts... Anyone reads it, so I don't give a damn :-D.
Ok, something about those 2 weeks. I am on the roaller coaster - figuratively.
On the begginnig of the May, I loved Paramore SO much, then I couldn't stand a day without "Wasting Lights" by Foo Fighters. I still love all of those songs, but then I just fell in LOVE with Priscilla Ahn and Vanessa Carlton.
  Did you listen to Vanessa's brand new single? It's called "Carousel" and It's truly amazing. Listen to it and you'll be alright!!!! :-)

Then, there is a beautiful new song from new album "When You Grow Up" by Priscilla - I Don't Have Time To Be In Love.

Then I listen to Avril Lavigne... A lot :-)
Her new album "Goodbye Lullaby". Listen to "Stop Standing There", "Push" or "Goodbye" or "Everybody Hurts"!

OK, I know, wierd I'm only writing what did I do. But, guys, really! Try it, if you'd have a while.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Hello everyone,
First, I wanna mention, that May is "Month of love" for me. So, if someone is ever going to read this post, I beg on my knees, kiss someone right now! :-D Someone from your family, or your boyfriend/girlfriend... That doesn't matter... :-)
Then, before I will tell you about my "love" for this month, I wanna share the INCREDIBLE album of Priscilla Ahn - When You Grow Up! It just came out - May 3rd. If you'd have only a while, check it out on Priscilla's official websites. You can listen to some songs from this album there, too.

Then, another thing... I just love "Confessions of a Shopaholic"! It is really "old" movie, I know! But I fell in love with this. I am shopaholic, little bit, so... :-)

But right now, seriously...
Harry Potter 7 - 1st part! So cool!
I didn't get to see that movie in the cinema, so I bought the DVD. But I should not do it, because I am into it so badly... It just charmed me!
I talked about this movie with my friends and they said, that the movie was so bad, so long...
I know, it was little too long, but not bad! I think I feel it this way, because I read this book and it's one of the most faithful HP adaptions ever!
Then, there are so good moments! So deep, so emotional moments, so I cannot unlove it.
It's movie about friendship, love, believe... I fell in love with that scene, when Harry dances with Hermione!
Then, I listened to soundtrack and it's amazing!

Witches!

Hello everybody,

It's crazy... I didn't realize how many traditions we have in our country...

Today, we celebrate "Pálení čarodějnic" - "Burning the Witches".
I've got no idea, what about you, if you have this tradition. Please, maybe let me know...

But it's not that special. People just meet in some place, do a big fireplace and then we put some "witch" from straw or wood on the top of this fireplace. Then we let it and let her burn.
It means expulsioning the witches and everything bad from our homes before the May starts.

Today I celebrated it with my beloved friend Kristen. We have had really good time, seen funny costumes of child witches... Just great.

Royal Wedding and Paramore

Hello everybody,

This week was full of experiences.
1st - My mommy went to Italy 'cause of her job, so we are living in our three little rooms with our grandmother...
She is really so adorable, she makes snacks, buys all the good food...
It is really co cool. And she still asks - "Do you want me to buy this for you?" Of course, in Czech - "Chceš, abych ti tohle koupila?" :D

2nd - I kind of started to be crazy... :D That's not a new, I know! But I honestly decided to write a story about an unconventional girl Jamie, ex drug addict. She is at narcotics anonymous, she does sponsor.
Jamie's last friend she sponsored is leaving now. In the same time, at narcotics anonymous is appearing new member, Damon. Anyone knows a lot about him, he's not talking very much...
But then, Jamie is becoming his sponsor. She starts to know more about him...
So there is strange relationship between them full or disbelief, fear and bizzare love to each other.
Then, Damon has got some dead secret and he's afraid Jaime have found it, because she's looking at him the way she is under his mask...
Weird, I know... :D

3rd THE BIGGEST THING NUMBER 1
Prince William and Kate - Royal Wedding in England! Sure...
I really love this couple, so I couldn't wait for their wedding.
Then, sadly, I couldn't watch it "live", because I've been in the school...
But, I've seen their first public kiss after wedding. It was at 14:28 (Czech time...)

3rd THE BIGGEST THING NUMBER 2...
I fell in love with PARAMORE... again...
I listened to them a lot, but in last months I started to listen to singers like Vanessa Carlton, Priscilla Ahn...
But my love to this amazing group is back already, I don't know why...
Yuck, I know why! Because they are amazing! :D I mean it...
So, in a while I am listening to their album Brand New Eyes and it's (like always) amazing! You surely have to listen to this...

Easter Monday

Hello everyone,

Easter Monday! I've been waiting for this day whole month!
OK, honestly, I don't like Easter Monday very much. Reason?
In Czech Republic, we hold on to many many traditions, that belong to Easter.
1. One day before Easter Monday, all of the girls have to dye eggs to some color. Then they decorate it with some ornaments from little wooden pieces or ornament from wax.
It looks like this (with wax):

  2. One day before Easter Monday, all of the boys have to do a stick from 8 and more osiers. In Czech Republic, we have word for this stick - "pomlázka".

3. On Easter Monday,
boy takes his stick and beats girls from the family. Then he usually takes handbasket and goes to his friends' home, or to people from building and beats all of the ladies, because boys beat only girls, never other way round ( not fair :D ). This tradition means, that if the boy beats girl with this stick, girl is younger and fresher.
Then, after this beating, girls give boys that eggs as thanks to them.
 
Ok, it's not that bad...It is fun :). Maybe you could try it too!
